For this project we were
asked to build a pair of kitchen cupboards in the style of one that was
illustrated in a 17th Century engraving shown to us. When
they were completed, our client was gracious enough to say that the
cupboards were exactly as she had wanted.
This pair of cupboards are built in the same
style except that (obviously) one is glazed and the other is
not. The glazed cupboard allows the owners to display their
prized pieces of china. The unglazed cupboard hides and
essential but visually unappealing hot water tank.
