EXAMPLES OF OUR WORK
"Because
we take in to account our clients wishes, each unit that we build tends
to be unique in its own way. Thus we do not have standard products as
such".
Michael Gilligan.

PRIVATE LIBRARY.
 |
|
| |
We greatly enjoyed building this major
library project for a client who wanted to display his book collection.
The room is large enough to double as a formal dining room. |

AN ALCOVE UNIT WITH HIDDEN TV. |
|
| |
|
 |
In this pair of matched alcove units,
the one on the left incorporates a small cupboard in the lower half.
The 'cupboard' is in fact a TV hide-away. The TV slides out on a
special platform when required for viewing. The unit on the
right is a bookcase only.
|
 |
Both units end short of the
ceiling and are finished in a cornice profile suiting the
ceiling features. We are able to blend the finish of our units
with most types of ceiling features.

COPY OF
A 17th CENTURY DESIGN |
|
| |
For this project we were asked to build a pair of kitchen cupboards in
the style of one that was illustrated in a 17th century
engraving shown to us. When they were completed, our client was gracious
enough to say that the cupboards were exactly as she had wanted.

A
CHILD'S BEDROOM |
|
| |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
In this example our client wanted some bedroom furniture
built on ergonomic principles for her young daughter. The
left-hand wardrobe has a hanging space for dresses, and
shelves for folded clothing. The shelves are adjustable
and can make room for longer dresses as the child grows
up. The right-hand wardrobe has bookshelves and a worktop large enough to accommodate a small computer, or
to serve as a dressing table. The height of the worktop
can easily be adjusted as needed. Apparently the
young girl liked her cupboards so much that she would sit
inside them for considerable periods of time. |
